Isaac Odugbesan, a senior at Alabama representing Nigeria, took third in the men's shot put final with a third-round mark of 67-2.25 (20.48m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. It marked the best career finish at a Division 1 final for Odugbesan, who placed seventh at the NCAA indoor championship in March in Birmingham.
