Alabama teammates Mercy Chelangat and Hilda Olemomoi took the top two spots in the women's invitational 10,000 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium. Chelangat became only the ninth female athlete in NCAA history to eclispe the 32-minute barrier and elevated to the No. 7 all-time collegiate competitor at 31:55.80. Olemomoi ascended to the No. 12 perfomer in NCAA history at 32:05.83.
