Alabama teammates Flomena Asekol, Mercy Chelangat and Hilda Olemomoi, all representing Kenya, each earned All-America first-team honors at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Olemomoi was second in the 5,000-meter final in 16:11.08, with Chelangat taking third in 16:11.63. Olemomoi placed fifth in the 3,000-meter final in 9:15.26 and Chelangat finished 11th in 9:19.33. Asekol secured third in the mile final in 4:35.18.
